Transcribing positions

We are regularly recruiting experienced, freelance audio typists to join our high calibre team. If you have a PC, broadband internet connection, and typing speeds of 80wpm, read on!

Take1 only recruits the best transcribers who are sufficiently skilled to transcribe not only one to one interviews, but also programmes with multiple voices, or meetings with two or more participants. You will have British English as your mother tongue, an excellent command of english language and grammar, and be capable of never missing a deadline. You will be exposed to a diverse range of material which makes the work interesting but challenging too, as people speak at different speeds, with different accents, and different levels of clarity.

You will be working on shows like Dragons’ Den, Wife Swap, Ten Years Younger, and Child of our Time using our proprietary transcription software.

You need
